Teriparatide è una forma sintetica dell'ormone paratiroideo (PTH) utilizzata principalmente nel trattamento dell'osteoporosi. È caratterizzata dalla sua capacità di stimolare la formazione ossea, rendendola distinta da altri trattamenti per l'osteoporosi che si concentrano principalmente sull'inibizione della riassorbimento osseo.
