CAS:Prodotto controllato3,7,12-Trihydroxycoprostanoic acid (TRHCA) is a fatty acid that is a product of the oxidation of cholestane. It has been shown to inhibit the viral replication of hepatitis B virus in human liver cells by inhibiting the atp-dependent transport. The conversion of TRHCA to cholic acid is an important step in the metabolism of cholesterol and bile acids. The enzyme cytochrome P450 2C8 metabolizes TRHCA into cholic acid. This enzyme is found primarily in the liver cells and catalyzes this reaction with a high affinity for TRHCA.
TRHCA has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties due to its ability to reduce prostaglandin synthesis.Formula:C27H46O5Purezza:Min. 95%Peso molecolare:450.7 g/molRef: ST-EA-CP-C93041
