CAS:<p>Iopamidol is a radiocontrast agent that is used in diagnostic imaging to improve the visibility of blood vessels and other structures. Iopamidol is a salt of sodium and iopamidol, which consists of iodine, water, and two types of organic molecules. The organic molecules are either non-ionic surfactants or quaternary ammonium compounds. Iopamidol has been shown to have genotoxic activity in vitro.
