Disodio NADH, noto anche come disodio nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, è una coenzima che gioca un ruolo cruciale in vari processi biologici, in particolare nella respirazione cellulare e nel metabolismo. È la forma ridotta del NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) ed è coinvolta in reazioni redox, fungendo da trasportatore di elettroni. La forma di sale disodico ne migliora la solubilità in soluzioni acquose, rendendola più biodisponibile per applicazioni biochimiche. Disodio NADH è tipicamente una polvere cristallina bianca o bianco sporco, ed è igroscopica, il che significa che può assorbire umidità dall'aria. È stabile in condizioni normali, ma deve essere protetta dalla luce e da temperature estreme per mantenere la sua efficacia.
