Descrizione:
Acido formico, con il numero CAS 64-18-6, è l'acido carbossilico più semplice, caratterizzato dalla sua formula molecolare HCOOH. È un liquido incolore e pungente che è altamente solubile in acqua, alcol ed etere. Acido formico ha un punto di ebollizione di circa 100 gradi Celsius e un punto di fusione intorno agli 8 gradi Celsius.
