(-)-Cloridrato di tetraciclina è un antibiotico ad ampio spettro appartenente alla classe delle tetracicline, utilizzato principalmente per trattare varie infezioni batteriche. È caratterizzato dalla sua complessa struttura policiclica, che include quattro anelli fusi, contribuendo alla sua capacità di inibire la sintesi proteica nei batteri legandosi alla subunità ribosomiale 30S.
