Fenoprofen sodium salt dihydrate is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), which is a synthetic compound derived from propionic acid. This reduction in prostaglandin synthesis is responsible for its analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic effects.
