Descrizione:
Metanolo, noto anche come alcol metilico, è un alcol semplice con la formula chimica CH₃OH e il numero CAS 67-56-1. È un liquido incolore e volatile con un leggero odore dolce ed è altamente solubile in acqua. Metanolo ha un basso punto di ebollizione e un'alta pressione di vapore, rendendolo una sostanza infiammabile che può formare miscele esplosive con l'aria.
