    <p>RO8191 is a small molecule that has been shown to inhibit replication of hepatitis B virus (HBV) in vitro and in vivo. RO8191 has also been shown to inhibit replication of human papillomavirus (HPV) and cervical cancer cells. In cellular systems, RO8191 inhibits the activity of cellular polymerase chain reaction (PCR) replicons, which are used as a model for HBV and HPV replication.
