Polisilossani, di-Me, terminati con idrossile, comunemente noto come polidimetilsilossano terminato in idrossile (PDMS), è una classe di polimeri di silicone caratterizzati dalle loro unità di silossano (Si-O) che si ripetono. Questi composti presentano tipicamente una struttura lineare con gruppi metilici (Me) attaccati agli atomi di silicio e gruppi idrossile (–OH) alle estremità terminali. Questa struttura conferisce proprietà uniche, tra cui flessibilità, bassa tensione superficiale e ottima stabilità termica, rendendoli adatti a una varietà di applicazioni.
