CAS:7-epi-10-Deacetyl baccatin III is a 10-deacetylbaccatin that is used as the starting material for the synthesis of taxol. It is an acetylated form of baccatin III. 7-epi-10-Deacetyl baccatin III has a detection time of 3 days and a structural formula of C30H36O3. This compound also has an oxetane ring, which may be hydrolyzed to form taxol. The drug substance is an aliphatic hydrocarbon with hydroxyl groups on each end. Taxol can be synthesized from 7-epi-10-Deacetyl baccatin III by microbial transformation in the presence of impurities, substrate concentration and biosynthesis. Docetaxel can also be synthesized from 7-epi-10-Deacetyl baccatin III by adding a hydroxyl group to one end and removing acetate groups
