α-Artemether è un composto antimalarico derivato dall'artemisinina, che viene estratta dalla pianta di assenzio dolce, Artemisia annua. È utilizzato principalmente nel trattamento della malaria, in particolare nei casi causati da Plasmodium falciparum, il parassita della malaria più grave.
