30-Hydroxylup-20(29)-en-3-one is a benzoate derivative that is found in the ethanol extract of Cordata, a rainforest plant. This compound has been shown to have anti-cancer properties and may be used as an anticancer drug candidate. It inhibits the growth of cancer cells by blocking the cell cycle at the G1 phase.
