Descrizione:
Zirconio è un metallo di transizione con il simbolo Zr e numero atomico 40. È caratterizzato dal suo alto punto di fusione, eccellente resistenza alla corrosione e forte affinità per l'ossigeno, che porta alla formazione di uno strato di ossido protettivo. Zirconio è un metallo grigio argenteo che è relativamente duttile e può essere facilmente fabbricato in varie forme.
