Descrizione: Il Cloruro di potassio (KCl) è un sale inorganico comunemente usato in varie applicazioni, incluso come integratore di potassio nei fertilizzanti e nei trattamenti medici. Si presenta come un solido cristallino bianco ed è altamente solubile in acqua, dissociandosi in ioni di potassio (K⁺) e cloruro (Cl⁻). Il KCl ha un alto punto di fusione ed è stabile in condizioni normali, rendendolo adatto per vari processi industriali. È igroscopico, il che significa che può assorbire umidità dall'aria, il che può influenzare la sua manipolazione e conservazione.
