Applications Dimethyl Phosphite is used as a reagent in the synthesis of 4-(thiophen-2-ylmethyl)-2H-phthalazin-1-ones as potent PARP-1 inhibitors. It is also used as a reagent in the synthesis of estafiatin phosphonate derivatives which exhibit antibacterial and antifungal activity.
