Poli(alcol vinilico) (PVA) è un polimero sintetico caratterizzato dalla sua solubilità in acqua, biocompatibilità e proprietà di formazione di film. Viene prodotto attraverso l'idrolisi del poli(acetato di vinile) ed è noto per la sua eccellente adesione, flessibilità e resistenza a oli e grassi.
