Poli(dimetilsilossano) (PDMS) è un polimero a base di silicone noto per le sue proprietà uniche e versatilità in varie applicazioni. È caratterizzato da un'unità ripetitiva di dimetilsilossano, che conferisce flessibilità, idrofobicità e stabilità termica. Il PDMS presenta una bassa tensione superficiale, rendendolo un eccellente lubrificante e agente antischiuma.
