Farrerol

Farrerol is a natural compound that inhibits the angiotensin system and has been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects. It can be used for the treatment of inflammatory diseases, including arthritis, asthma, and psoriasis. Farrerol has also been shown to inhibit the production of collagenase in human serum, which may be due to its ability to suppress the activity of neutrophils. This molecule also has neuroprotective properties and can inhibit neuronal death after injury by inhibiting microglia activation. Farrerol is structurally similar to a polyketide synthase (PKS) intermediate and activates toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) pathways.
