succinato di metoprololo è un bloccante selettivo del recettore adrenergico beta-1 utilizzato principalmente nel trattamento dell'ipertensione, dell'insufficienza cardiaca e di alcuni tipi di aritmie. È una polvere cristallina bianca a bianco sporco solubile in acqua e presenta una buona biodisponibilità orale.
