Pteridine-2,4-diamine
CAS:Pteridine-2,4-diamine is a peroxide that is found in nature. It has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on mutant enzymes that are involved in the production of hydrogen peroxide. Pteridine-2,4-diamine binds to a ligand and prevents it from reacting with hydrogen peroxide. This compound is used as a surfactant in pharmaceutical preparations. It also has an inhibitory effect on soybean lipoxygenase, which may be due to its ability to bind to the phosphonium salt at the active site and prevent the catalytic reaction with hydrogen peroxide.

CAS:Cyclopentanecarboxamide is a class of organic compounds that are used as antihypertensives, immunosuppressants, and antineoplastic agents. The compound is a potent adenosine receptor antagonist and has been shown to inhibit the production of chemokines in cultured cells. Cyclopentanecarboxamide also inhibits the activation of hydrogen bond-dependent enzymes such as fatty acid synthase and lipoxygenase. This inhibition leads to an anti-inflammatory effect by reducing inflammation caused by these enzymes. Cyclopentanecarboxamide also has been shown to reduce the incidence of myocardial infarcts in rats when given before or after coronary artery ligation.
