The structure of 1-methyl-4-piperidinol is similar to that of pyrrolidine and piperazine, which are known to have antihistamine properties. In addition, 1-methyl-4-piperidinol binds with magnesium salt and forms a complex that inhibits the activity of hydrogen bond formation by amines and fatty acids. This inhibition leads to an increase in pH levels inside the cell, which may lead to cancer cell death.

PhiKan 083 is a monoclonal antibody that binds to the ubiquitin ligase protein. This protein is involved in the regulation of cellular processes such as transcription and apoptosis.
