CAS:AC1903 is a growth factor that has been shown to increase the glomerular filtration rate in wild-type mice. The effective dose of AC1903 is 1.25mg/kg, which was determined by testing the effects on human osteosarcoma cells and measuring the uptake of Ca2+. AC1903 has also been shown to reduce tumor growth and metastasis in cancer cells by inhibiting epidermal growth factor (EGF) and VEGF pathways. It does this by binding to the cation channel, inhibiting calcium overload, and reducing cellular uptake of cations.
