This Reagecon Density Standard Quality Range 0.8715 g/mL at 15°C is manufactured and tested in accordance with ASTM D4052 for testing of density or relative density (specific and API gravity). It is tested by vibrational densitometer and can be used as a calibration or control standard for density measurement by vibrational or hydrometer (specific gravity) based techniques. - The Test Method used by Reagecon for testing density standards using vibrational densitometers is accredited to ISO 17025 (A2LA Ref: 6739.03). The product is prepared gravimetrically on a weight/weight basis. Both solute and solvent are weighed on a balance calibrated by OIML traceable weights. Reagecon holds ISO 17025 accreditation (A2LA Ref: 6739.02) for calibration of laboratory balances.
