Applications 2-Nonen-1-ol-D2 is a labelled analogue of 2-Nonen-1-ol. 2-Nonen-1-ol is an unsaturated alcohol that has antimicrobial properties. 2-Nonen-1-ol is also used as a flavour and fragrance agent, and has a “green” odour.
