
Flavonoidi e Polifenoli
I flavonoidi sono composti fenolici con una struttura di 15 atomi di carbonio, costituita da due anelli aromatici collegati da un ponte di tre atomi di carbonio. I polifenoli rappresentano una classe più ampia di composti organici contenenti più gruppi fenolici. Entrambi i gruppi hanno potenti proprietà antiossidanti, permettendo loro di proteggere le cellule dai danni causati dai radicali liberi. I flavonoidi si trovano comunemente in frutta, verdura e tè e sono associati al miglioramento della salute cardiovascolare e alla prevenzione delle malattie croniche.
