3-Bromo-4-methylbenzoic acid has been used in the synthesis of biphenyl amides, 2-benzazepine-4-acetic acid derivative, as an analog of the potent, nonpeptide GPIIb/IIIa antagonist, O-spiro C-aryl glucosides.
