Descrizione:Cathepsin G (EC 3.4.21.20, CAS No [56645-49-9], [107200-92-0]) is an enzyme that belongs to a family of serine proteases, as it has a serine in its active site. One unit of Cathepsin G will hydrolyze 1.0 μmol of succinyl-alanine-alanine-proline-phenylalanine-p-nitroanilide per minute at pH 7.4 160 mM Tris-HCl buffer with with 1.6 M NaCl at 37°C. It also cleaves proteoglycans, collagen and angiotensinogen.Human Neutrophil Cathepsin G is supplied in lyophilized form and can be reconstituted in deionized water. Specific activity is 2-4 U/mg protein. Molecular weight is 23500Da. Store at -20°C on arrival.
