Descrizione:The 6xHis tag is a commonly used protein purification tag in molecular biology and biochemistry. It consists of a short amino acid sequence containing six consecutive histidine residues (His). This tag is often genetically fused to the target protein of interest, allowing for purification of the fusion protein using affinity chromatography. The purification process typically involves the use of a metal ion affinity resin, such as nickel-nitrilotriacetic acid (Ni-NTA) agarose, which has a high affinity for the His-tagged protein.
