Descrizione:The 6-Fluoro-3-indoxyl-beta-D-galactopyranoside is a powerful antituberculosis drug that falls under the category of rifamycins. It is highly effective in treating tuberculosis infections. This active compound exhibits bactericidal activity by inhibiting bacterial growth through its binding to DNA-dependent RNA polymerase, preventing transcription and replication.
