Descrizione:The 6-Fluoro-3-indoxyl-beta-D-galactopyranoside is an effective antituberculosis drug that falls under the class of rifamycins. It is specifically designed to target tuberculosis infections and contains active compounds with bactericidal activity. By binding to DNA-dependent RNA polymerase, it inhibits bacterial growth, preventing transcription and replication. This drug has been extensively studied using advanced techniques like the patch-clamp technique on human erythrocytes.
