Descrizione:The 6-Fluoro-3-indoxyl-beta-D-galactopyranoside is an antituberculosis drug that falls under the category of rifamycins. It is highly effective in treating tuberculosis infections, as it contains active compounds with bactericidal activity. The drug works by binding to DNA-dependent RNA polymerase, which inhibits bacterial growth and prevents transcription and replication. Extensive research has shown its high frequency of human activity through patch-clamp techniques on human erythrocytes.
