Descrizione:The 6-Fluoro-3-indoxyl-beta-D-galactopyranoside is a powerful antituberculosis drug that falls under the class of rifamycins. It is known to effectively treat tuberculosis infections by targeting the active compounds and exhibiting bactericidal activity. Through its binding to DNA-dependent RNA polymerase, it inhibits bacterial growth by preventing transcription and replication. This drug has been extensively studied using advanced techniques such as the patch-clamp technique on human erythrocytes.
