Descrizione:Benactyzine hydrochloride is a pharmacological agent that inhibits the enzyme acetylcholinesterase. It is used in the treatment of primary pulmonary hypertension, as well as other conditions such as reversible inhibition of cholinesterase and detection sensitivity. Benactyzine hydrochloride has been shown to be effective in animal models for locomotor activity and intramolecular hydrogen transfer. This drug binds to the receptor site and blocks the binding sites for acetylcholine, leading to the irreversible inhibition of acetylcholinesterase. The drug also has an effect on locomotor activity through its interaction with muscarinic receptors, which leads to an increase in extracellular levels of acetylcholine.
