Descrizione

Dinoseb is a chemical inhibitor that is used in wastewater treatment. It is a redox potential reducer and has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria in low-dose experiments. Dinoseb inhibits bacterial growth by disrupting the electron transport chain and preventing oxygen from entering the cell. It also has genotoxic effects, which may be due to its ability to form nitro groups on DNA bases. This can lead to mutations and cancerous transformation of cells.
