Descrizione:Allyl methacrylate is a reactive monomer that polymerizes by free radical initiation. It has a high thermal expansion coefficient, and the particle size can be controlled by the ratio of monomer to initiator. The kinetic studies of allyl methacrylate have been modeled using an allyl model system, copper chloride, and trifluoroacetic acid. Allyl methacrylate is also used to prepare poly(allyl methacrylate) (PAMA), which has many applications in medicine and engineering. PAMA is used for its biocompatibility, durability, transparency, resistance to water and solvents, and electrical insulation properties.
