(3,4-Dimethoxybenzyl)hydrazine is an ammoniated compound that is a chemical intermediate in the production of cyclopropylamines. The compound has been shown to have high toxicity to animals and humans, including symptoms such as fever, vomiting, diarrhea, and convulsions. It also has an irritant effect on the skin and eyes. (3,4-Dimethoxybenzyl)hydrazine has been used for treatment of helminthic infections in humans, but there are no reports of its use for treating arthritis.
