Descrizione:4-(Cyclohexyloxy)benzoic acid is a cyclic compound that has been shown to have anticancer and anti-inflammatory properties. It can be found in the leaves of plants such as Salix alba, or it can be synthesized from propanamide. The structural formula of 4-(cyclohexyloxy)benzoic acid is C10H14O4. 4-(Cyclohexyloxy)benzoic acid has been shown to possess pharmacological properties, including analgesia, anti-inflammatory activity, inhibition of tumor growth and metastasis, and inhibition of prostate cancer. These effects are attributed to its ability to inhibit the production of prostaglandins by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes. This compound has also been shown to have a high affinity for bone tissue and may be useful in the treatment of osteoarthritis.
