3-(Trifluoromethyl)phenylhydrazine (3-TFHP) is a diphenol that is used as an intermediate for the synthesis of dyestuffs and pharmaceuticals. 3-TFHP has been shown to react with carboxylic acids and amines, forming triazoles.
