Descrizione:2,3-Dibromo-2,3-dimethylbutane is a liquid with a boiling point of 60.5°C and an orientation of tetrahydrothiophene. It has been shown to be a good solvent for anthracene and dipole vibrational frequencies of inorganic compounds at temperatures above 20°C. 2,3-Dibromo-2,3-dimethylbutane is also used as a reagent in the synthesis of amines from isoprene and amines. The product can be separated into its two isomers by distillation or chromatography.
