Descrizione:
Tetraethylgermane (TEG) is a chemical species that has been used as a catalyst in industrial processes. It is typically used in the hydrogenation of various organic compounds and hydrocarbons, including unsaturated fatty acids, dienes, and olefins. TEG can also be used to produce hydrogen chloride by reacting with chlorine gas. Tetraethylgermane can be activated by light emission or by thermal decomposition at high temperatures. The activation energy for the process depends on the temperature at which it is being heated. Magnetic particles have been used to study the laser ablation process of TEG, which has shown that it is possible to control the size of the particles and their distribution in a liquid suspension.
