• Descrizione: β-Amyron is a natural product that has been isolated from the leaves of Boswellia sacra. It has inhibitory activities against protocatechuic acid, hexane, preparative HPLC and acetate extract. β-Amyron also showed inhibitory activities against α-amyrin acetate and caffeine. Furthermore, β-Amyron inhibited the growth of bacteria that were isolated from human skin (bel-7402) and ethanol extracts. β-Amyron belongs to the genus of boswellic acids and its nmr spectra are consistent with those of boswellic acids.
