Descrizione:Allomatrine is a chemical compound extracted from the fungi Ganoderma lucidum and Glycyrrhiza uralensis. It has been found to have κ-opioid receptor agonist activity, which may be responsible for its anti-inflammatory effects. Allomatrine has also been shown to reduce the activity of an electric actuator in mice, which may be related to its ability to inhibit pain. In addition, it inhibits the production of quinolizidine alkaloids, which are thought to contribute to inflammatory skin diseases.
