Descrizione:Glycyl-DL-phenylalanine is a cyclic peptide that has been studied as an inhibitor of phosphofructokinase. It was shown to be cytotoxic to bovine fetal liver cells, inhibiting the activity of cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterases and increasing the concentration of cytosolic calcium. Glycyl-DL-phenylalanine is an enzyme substrate, which undergoes x-ray diffraction data when subjected to a polymerase chain reaction. The structure and function of this drug are currently under investigation.
