Descrizione:Cis-1,3-cyclohexanediol is a mixture of cis and trans isomers that has been used as a chemical reagent in the synthesis of flavonol glycosides. The cis form has shown kinetic activity in the desymmetrization of an isomeric mixture. Cis-1,3-cyclohexanediol binds to a hydrogen bond site on methane monooxygenase and blocks its reaction with cyclohexanol. This product also has intramolecular hydrogen bonds that have been shown to have some effect on fatty acid metabolism.
