Descrizione:Nitrosoantipyrine is a diagnostic agent that can be used to detect the presence of antitumour activity by examining the effects of nitrosation on cervical cancer cells. In this assay, nitrosation is induced by incubating cells in the presence of hydrochloric acid and sodium citrate. The reaction products are then examined for their ability to inhibit the growth of typhimurium. Nitrosoantipyrine can be used as an antitumour agent or dietary supplement to reduce risk factors associated with carcinogens. Coumarin derivatives are often used as a precursor for nitrosoantipyrine synthesis because they react readily with nitrous acid at room temperature and form a stable product without any side reactions.
