Descrizione:²-Sitosterol Acetate (contains Campesterol Acetate) is a mixture of two sterols that are derived from the plant family known as the Sterculiaceae. This extract is made up of a hydroxyketone and hydroxyl group. It has been used in the treatment of various autoimmune diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, and multiple sclerosis. The sterols have been shown to inhibit the production of amyloid protein in mice with Alzheimer's disease and inhibit tumor growth in mouse models for cancer.²-Sitosterol Acetate (contains Campesterol Acetate) also has anti-inflammatory properties due to its ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis.
