Descrizione:CMP3a is a small molecule that inhibits the activity of tyrosine kinase enzymes. It is used for cancer therapy and to treat hepatitis. CMP3a has been shown to inhibit the replication of various viruses, including HIV-1, herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV-1), and influenza A virus. CMP3a binds to the kinase domain of the enzyme and modifies it, which prevents the enzyme from phosphorylating downstream substrates and initiating signal transduction pathways. Target gene expression was also inhibited in cancer cells treated with CMP3a, suggesting that this drug may be useful for treating cancer.
