Descrizione:Ip7E is a neuroprotective agent that has been shown to be effective in the treatment of various neurodegenerative diseases, such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease. Ip7E is a small molecule that modulates the metabolism of cells and protects them from death by inducing changes in cell nuclei. It also prevents radiation-induced neuronal cell death. Ip7E has been shown to be effective when administered before or after the onset of disease, suggesting it may be a possible diagnostic for neurodegenerative diseases. Ip7E binds to cellular membranes and stabilizes them against oxidative damage, thus protecting cells from death by apoptosis, necrosis, or autophagy.
