Descrizione:OT-82 is a small-molecule drug that inhibits the HDAC enzyme and has been shown to inhibit cancer growth in vitro and in vivo. It also has anti-inflammatory properties. OT-82 targets myeloid leukemia cells and induces apoptosis through inhibition of histone deacetylases, leading to the activation of proapoptotic proteins, such as Bim and p53. OT-82 is active against pediatric (2 years or younger) chronic lymphocytic leukemia with low expression levels of HDAC1, HDAC2, and HDAC3. In addition, it can be used for the treatment of bone cancer due to its ability to inhibit hdac activity.
